Conflict Resolution, Land

The project has the objective of the program is to resolve conflicts over land and natural resources in the indigenous communal land and Afro-Colombian in Department of Chocó and Turbo from the Region of Urabá in the Department of Antioquia in Colombia Quibdo.

the target specific is apply models successful of resolution of conflicts by the Earth alternative in 55 communities indigenous and afro descendants reaching 228,076 has of land communal benefiting 20,236 people, to decrease the violence and abuses of rights associated with disputes territorial and on them resources natural (forest, fishing, mining).

the project is transferring and adapting them successful experiences of resolution of conflict by the Earth already proven in the municipalities of Acandí and Unguía in the region of Darien Caribbean in collided originally adopted of Guatemala.

the project will have an impact positive to through them models alternative for the resolution of conflict and the transformation of a culture of violence by them actions that come to a resolution peaceful of problems related with them disputes on the land, and with the participation of all them actors involved.
